TODAY'S MONSTER- Online Classes

 I  have always been so grateful to be living in world which is so developed in the field of digitisation. This is what I used to think until my online classes started. Now, I think the world would be better off without technology. 

I mean there are so many strange things that happened with me during online classes. When you are in a normal classroom, you can be invisible. I mean when the teacher is searching for students to answer a question, you can just lean down a bit and hide. Anyways the teacher doesn't even remember your name. But that's definitely not the case with online classes. The teacher can find your name in the list and tell you to answer the question. This happened with me once. I didn't know the answer. In such a case you can't even give a lame excuse like there was a network issue as 1 minute ago when the teacher asked, "Am I audible?", you were the first one to say, "Yes Ma'am." 

One more thing I noticed during online classes, before the class starts everyone starts chatting. There are three types of students that send messages: Intelligent, average and "legendary". Intelligent students send messages like- "I am totally ready with my books, just waiting for the teacher to join the class." Average students- "Which period is this? I will take out the books if the teacher tells us to." And the Legendary students- "Today, class is there? I thought it was a holiday!" Hats off to these legendary students who live in their own world for entertaining us during these extremely boring classes.

I really hate Maths. Whenever I join a Maths class I really feel like I'm watching a foreign movie with no subtitles. Jokes apart but my brain works like a computer when I'm solving maths problems- Loading -> Error -> Not Found. That day my Biology teacher was telling the class that you all should sleep 8 hours a day and I was wondering that the classes are now only for 3 hours so when should I get the remaining 5 hours of my sleep😜. The best class to sleep is Social Science. I guess everyone will agree that it is a student's sleeping time.

I believe the scientists like Newton, Einstein & Thomas had a favourite song which they used to sing in their free time: 

      " Let's make some formulae & fit them inside a student's head shell & make their lives hell."

Do you know the full form of Homework (from which almost everyone skives off)? Homework stands for- half of my energy wasted on random knowledge.

Earlier teachers used to take our games period for extra classes and now they take our Subway Surfers & Candy Crush time. Everything has changed. But still there is something good about this change. At least some students keep on disturbing the teachers by doing some mischievous things like muting the teacher.

 It is rightly said that "You must welcome change as the rule, but not as your ruler."

Not So Sweet Sixteen!

  Life's an adventurous journey. You can't tell what comes your way. It's unpredictable. Seriously, I never imagined growing up. Liked my life the way it was. In fact, loved it.   I turned sixteen on 10th May. I just don't understand what's so sweet about turning sixteen. It feels the same as fifteen but with a bit more responsibilities and a hint of madness. Why do people make growing up such a big deal even though it feels quite great? You still miss those inane years when you could do asinine things without any good explanation. Well, life goes on to become complicated. However, it's fun. This topic has dual descriptions. Can't adhere to one. Simply bewildering.  If you think about it, when you are around 5 years old, you just want to grow up so that you can do whatever you want. I will share some things with you that I missed about school during the Corona time. I know it's a bit shocking, me saying I missed school even after some of my other arguments. However, like everything has two sides-good (which you miss) and bad, even school has a good side.  The thing that is amazing about school is the fact that we cannot recall the homework the teacher gave us an hour ago but we sure do remember the fun we had a month ago when the same teacher was absent. It's not a Guessing Game!

Hey! I  know some people  with a problem that no one can pronounce their name correctly. Ask  me, I am one of them. I don't get it, what's wrong with these people. So, as you know my name is Reya, actually it's of Spanish origin.   I mean whenever it's the first day of school & the teacher is taking the attendance, I am totally ready. If the teacher says 'Riya', 'Rhea', 'Raya' or anything that's weird for a name, I just wait for a second if no one answers I come to know that it's my name for the rest of the year according to that teacher. It's not that I don't correct them. I can correct people for about 10 to 15 times & then I just loose it. When this starts annoying me even more, I just give up & then I don't care what they call me. George Bush wisely said,  “In crucial things, unity. In important things, diversity. In ALL things, generosity.” We all have heard about both Hindu and Muslim harmony and differences. They exist because some people of a particular religion think that some things are being performed which are against their religion. Like arguments go on about eating meat. I believe that humans, animals and plants are like they belong to the upper class, middle class and the lower class respectively. You know, nobody eats humans. Well some people eat animals and animal products. But you can hardly find anyone who doesn’t eat plants. If we see, humans are being treated as if they belong to the upper class, animals of middle class and plants of lower class.
