  Struggle for Independence The brave-hearted started raising their voice, Against the colonial rule which they didn’t rejoice. They wanted a united nation This obligation was more than an inspiration. They revolted and were put behind the bars, Although it didn’t reduce the fire of freedom in their hearts. Everyone had different ideas for freedom, The struggle was more violent than Antietam. Nothing could bring their spirit down, Not the Rowlatt Act or the tragic Jallianwala in Amritsar town. It just made their rage proficient. Finally, they succeeded in getting India independent, And proved that they wouldn’t let anyone be a colonial rule descendent.                                                                                         ...

GUILT      FREE When frustrated I am It's not always because of a tan Sometimes its because of life When some incidences cut my dreams like a knife.  My dreams and wishes, I can't buy There is no reason why This isn't anything to explain, What I wanted with my life, away it drained. It's hard to get on, My every plan in life got torn. But this one incident cannot stop me, From this guilt I will soon be free. There is a lesson I have learnt from this, Now there won't be an opportunity I will miss. Life can be weird sometimes , you don't get what you are looking for . This pains even more if you know that you had worked hard for it . But as per me, the only thing that will make you feel better is to never loose hope . It will encourage you to try your best the next time & make you feel better and less guilty .   You could do something that would help you feel better & express your views (like I write poems when I am frustrated) .   These adventures can only be our dreams Books are our best friends which are always in trend. The Secret Seven, the Diary of Anne Frank, the Adventures of Tom Sawyer these all Make us curious to read more, laugh and fall. Their funny adventurous   tales After we have finished them our face gets pale.😑 If their stories  end So what, we will make our own stories & we will stay in trend. ☺️ ☺️ BUSY THINKING ☺️ ☺️ What to do? I need a clue. I want to do something mischievous, And to do such things I am always curious. Should I go to anyone’s house and just ring the bell, But if I get caught while escaping, what would I tell? Oh god! Think about something else,   Should I play with shells?   🐚 Think, think, get an idea, mmm... 😟 Better I watch television, Or practice sums of division. Oh! This is too confusing And also amusing.😩 Thinking, Thinking, Thinking... A  STUDENT’S  LIFE We all wanna be free, From sitting & studying, so that in future we get a degree. Vacations are going on, But still our freedom has gone. Here comes the holiday homework master, To apply on our hands a plaster. I do  think, teachers fight for giving the work, That makes my mood beserk. And then comes the exams, To pass through them we need to make plans. English, Maths, Science are nice, But History, Hindi & Sanskrit are like spice. So what is basically a student’s life? Still you say it’s full of adventure, fun and jive. I wrote this poem when I was in 8th standard. I mean just imagine the miserable school life of students. When teachers can't teach all the subjects then how can they expect students to study all the subjects.
